How to Successfully Create, Keep and Develop the Customer Circle

A few useful tips

1. Create good relations with your customer during your first meeting in order to build a stable base for a long-term relationship. During the first meeting you can learn a lot about your customer using the Customer Journal.

2. Create a professional file to remember all your active customers together with those who temporarily stopped using any Herbalife products.

3. Be in constant touch with your customers on the phone in order to:
  • be sure that they are using the products in the right way
  • correct their mistakes, if any
  • make them happy by telling how many centimeters a day they are losing and tell them other customers' success stories
  • ask for referrals
  • invite them to one of the following events:
  • Customer Day
  • STS / FTT

4. Write to your customers. Don't forget to send them

  • a thank you letter
  • a greeting for the approaching holiday
  • a birthday greeting
  • a letter about the new products
  • a letter to the customer who has once successfully lost weight, but later gained it back again
  • invitation to the Customer Day with a call to follow to confirm the receipt of the letter and to find out if he is going to participate
  • include a product brochure, Herbalife Today and other promotional materials into your mailing

5. Create your own incentives for the customers accumulating points and bringing other customers

6. Visit your customers. What is it going to give you?

  • your relations with the customer will improve. You will know him closer and learn a lot of things that cannot be learnt on the phone
  • you will make more sales
  • you will meet his family
  • you will find new customers
  • you will make him a business opportunity offer

7. How to make a business opportunity offer to the customer:

Be fully armed with:

  • an IBP
  • a file of all your customers
  • a list of potential distributors, e.g. those who called to an ad, a pack of surveys, etc
  • your report about the work done: how much and what kind of work you did last month, how much time it took you, how much money you earned
  • present all this information before the customer, tell him that the business is going out of control and ask for help
  • when you are making a business opportunity offer, don't motivate it with product discounts.
  • Anyone will be ready to become a distributor for a discount. Distributor comes from "distribute". This is not a position. It is an activity. So you should motivate your customer with future commercial success

8. Organize a Customer Day
